A series of cyanotypes created during the summer of 2024. Here I am experimenting with the idea of creating a perception of depth. Standing in a field looking out on the blazing sun or looking up through the canopy overhead. Each image was quickly composed while the exposure in sunlight was taking place. Leaves and branches layered further away from the surface of the paper take on a shadowed and distant appearance.
